2017 Region IV Far West Regionals

Nevada Referees excel and make run for one of top youth referee programs in Region IV at 2017 Farwest Regional Championships in Seattle, WA.

Ten referees were selected from the Nevada Referee Mentor Program to take part in US Youth Soccer top regional tournament. Far West Regionals consisted of 6 days of games from U13 to U19 State Cup winners in all 14 states in Region IV.

Top level FIFA, Professional, National Referees, instructors, assessors, and Coach Mentors were in attendance to watch games and provide feedback to a total 200+ referees working the tournament.

All 10 Nevada Referees worked in high level assignments during group play and were present during important matches in Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals.

Only a low percentage of referees were selected to attend 2017 US Youth Nationals held in Dallas, TX.
Two Nevada referees were selected
including Alejandro Aguilera and
Eduardo Gonzalez.

Alejandro will be returning to National for his second consecutive time.
He was the referee on Boys 18 Final at Nationals in 2016.
Eduardo "Pollo" Gonzalez joins an exclusive list of decorated referees in the United States who have attend Regionals for the very first time and been selected to represent their State at Nationals.

Haley Roser, Uriel Aguilera, Benjamin Limon, Andrea Garcia, Daniel Nuñes, Mariano Torres, Alejandro Aguilera, Marco Vivero, Jesus Ubario, Eduardo Gonzalez, Assesor- Warren Begas, Coach Mentor- Juan Guzman.
